Star Academy Lebanon

The guest stars at the seventh prime on Friday were the beautiful Sirine Abdel Nour, Adam and Cheb Fodel.  This prime did not include Friend of the Week segment, but Roula Saad the director of the Academy, asked Cheb Fodel to present one of the students with a surprise instead.  He surprised everyone by inviting Shada Hassoon out to dinner!!!! Congratulations Shada.

We also congratulate the top four students of the week listed below:

1. Ahmad Dawood was voted by his teachers to be the top student for this week.  His prize consisted of the complete albums for some of his favourite artists like Carlos Santana, Frank Sinatra, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd and others.  This is his first time at the top but he had been voted twice as Friend of the Week by the other students.  The very popular Ahmad has accumulated so far USD 9,000 by being in the Top 4 for several weeks.
2. Imed Jallouli is in second position.  The teachers at Star Academy have noted a lot of improvement in Imed’s voice and performance. He has now a total of USD 8,500.
3. Tina Yamout who’s known for her beautiful voice especially in performing English songs, is in 3^rd position with a total of USD 6,500.
4. Mohamed Kammah is known for his many talents.  Mohamed plays the piano and the guitar, as well as composes and sings.  He has composed 3 songs at the academy so far.  This week he’s in 4^th position with a total of USD 6,500.

One of the highlights of the Prime was the beautiful song written by Tina Yamout and composed by Mohamed Kammah.  They performed the duet on stage and accompanied it by piano.  As an appreciation for Mohamed’s hard work at the academy, Roula Saad granted him his wish to take all the students on an outing to a place of their choice.

As Ahmad was voted Friend of the Week in the previous prime, the Academy had promised him a ski trip and had asked him to choose a friend from the academy to go with him.  He had chosen Marowa and they went together on their first ski trip ever.  Apparently they had never even seen snow before.  Ahmad proved to be a quick learner and was skiing with ease down the slopes, but Marowa had a hard time and a few falls.

Finally, on Friday we had to say goodbye to Imane who was voted out of the Academy by her friends.  As for the other two nominees, Sally had 54% of the viewers’ votes and Dany was saved by his fellow students who voted for him: Carlo, Tina, Ali, Abdulaziz, Ahmad, Mohamad and Ayoub.
